WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH The Strategic Workforce Planning team works cross-functionally to support NIKE’s business goals through labor governance and financial guardrails, emphasizing long-term strategic workforce planning and change management. The team focuses on enabling business and talent strategies to collaborate and develop scalable workforce planning frameworks through leadership, analytics, and communication. The role sits within the Talent & OD team within the Human Resources function. Some of the key stakeholders are Sr. HRBPs, COE leads, and Business leaders across the enterprise. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for an experienced, strategic professional to manage and mentor a team of Workforce Planning Managers within the Nike, HR Talent & OD organization based in our Beaverton, OR headquarters. In this role it is crucial that this individual can build alignment across HR, Finance, and Business Operations to support Nike’s business goals. The candidate needs to be a proactive problem solver, demonstrate innovative thinking skills, and have strong understanding of workforce analytics. • Proven experience in workforce planning, HR strategy, or business operations—preferably in a global, matrixed organization. • Demonstrated success leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders. • Strong analytical skills and comfort with workforce data, modeling, and forecasting. • Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide practices or frameworks. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills. • Strong business acumen and change management capabilities, with a track record of driving strategic transformation. • Experience managing multiple products, portfolios, or initiatives, or operating in a consulting-style role that requires balancing diverse stakeholder needs and delivering tailored solutions. • A strong understanding of hiring scenario planning, workforce design, and organizational capability forecasting WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON If this is you, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in managing and mentoring a team of workforce planning managers who are responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable workforce plans. You will be heavily involved in creating operational workforce plans across multiple business units and ensuring alignment with Nike’s strategic priorities. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible partnering with senior business leaders to assess workforce needs, identify gaps, and develop responsive planning solutions. This role is a strong collaborative role, and it is crucial that you can partner with outside functions to problem solve and perform tight turnarounds. • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and feedback sessions to continuously refine planning methodologies. • Lead the ongoing evaluation and enhancement of workforce planning processes to ensure relevance, efficiency, and impact. • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and training materials to support adoption and consistency across the enterprise. • Co-lead the development of Nike’s long-term Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) strategy in partnership with the Senior Director of SWP. • Define and evolve Nike’s enterprise-wide SWP model, including scenario planning, future workforce design, and capability forecasting.
