Position Summary Teladoc Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Litigation Support Specialist with expertise in Privacy and Data Protection to join our Legal team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our legal team in all aspects of compliance-related litigation, focusing on matters concerning privacy laws, data breaches, and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that Teladoc Health adheres to all applicable regulations and effectively manages legal risks associated with privacy and data protection. Key Responsibilities Manage and organize large volumes of documents and data related to compliance litigation, including discovery materials, pleadings, and internal communications. Conduct legal research and analysis of relevant privacy laws, regulations, and case precedents (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA). Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and responses to discovery requests. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments (e.g., IT, Security, Compliance) to gather information and evidence for litigation. Assist with the development and implementation of litigation strategies and case management plans. Support the legal team in responding to data breach incidents and regulatory investigations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases. Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on privacy and data protection compliance for Teladoc Health employees. Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in privacy law and data security. Manage e-discovery processes, including data collection, preservation, and review. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation support, with a focus on privacy and data protection. Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA. Experience with e-discovery tools and processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to maintain a confidential and professional work environment from your remote location. Technical Requirements As a fully remote employee, you will be responsible for maintaining a suitable home office environment. The following technical requirements are necessary for this position: Dedicated workspace free from distractions. High-speed internet connection with a minimum upload/download speed of 25 Mbps. Reliable computer with up-to-date operating system and security software. Webcam and microphone for virtual meetings. Adherence to Teladoc Health’s security policies and procedures. Must be available to work during core business hours in the Eastern Time Zone (ET). Desired Skills Experience with data analytics tools. Familiarity with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis). Experience in the healthcare industry. Project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with remote colleagues. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this fully remote Compliance Litigation Support Specialist - Privacy & Data Protection position is $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
