Commercial Insurance Territory Manger

Role Description: NAICO is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Territory Manager to join our team and manage agency relationships within the Wyoming market. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing agency partnerships while identifying new agency opportunities across the territory. The position allows for flexibility, with remote work when not traveling to agencies and the need for 1-2 overnight stays per month. This role requires a candidate residing in Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, or a nearby region. . A minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance experience is required, along with strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: • Agency Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing agencies to ensure ongoing satisfaction and business growth. • New Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new agency opportunities within the designated territory to expand NAICO’s presence and increase business. • Travel: Travel regularly within the Wyoming territory (1-2 nights of overnight stays per month) to meet with agency owners, producers, and staff. • Remote Work: When not visiting agencies, work remotely to manage accounts, address client needs, and support agency growth. • Communication: Act as the primary contact for agencies, ensuring effective and consistent communication to maintain positive relationships. • Time Management: Prioritize and organize agency visits, follow-ups, and administrative tasks to maximize efficiency and meet goals. • Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate records of all agency interactions, visits, and meetings, and provide regular updates on progress and business outcomes. • Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting and other internal teams to support agency objectives and resolve issues when needed. Qualifications: • Experience: At least 2 years of commercial insurance experience, with a solid understanding of insurance products and policies. • Location: Must reside in Wyoming, Montana, or North Dakota. • Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. • Skills: Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential. Ability to work independently and manage a remote position effectively.
