About You The Collections Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing customer collections activities, resolving billing issues, supporting cash application, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of customer accounts. This role will directly contribute to the financial stability and customer satisfaction of AppDirect, and serve as a key point of contact for outstanding receivables. What you'll do and how you'll have an impact Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables. Contact customers via email and phone to follow up on past due accounts, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment plans when necessary. Collaborate with upstream internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues impacting payment (disputes, billing errors, service issues, etc.). Support the application of payments to customer accounts in our MP and financial system NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with the Cash Applications function. Monitor aging reports for our CSP and E78 Marketplaces and proactively identify accounts at risk of delinquency. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on collections activity, cash receipts, and risk exposure. Assist with month-end close activities, including AR reporting and variance explanations related to collections. Contribute to KPI tracking and analysis to improve collections efficiency and DSO. Provide input on improving collections processes and system enhancements. Support ad hoc finance projects and audit requests. What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar financial role. Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (exp - NetSuite) is a plus. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow through on tasks. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Eagerness to learn, strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude are essential.
