THE ROLE The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Coface North America will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the company’s long-term strategic vision. This role will oversee strategic planning, marketing, communications, and operational alignment to ensure sustainable growth, competitive positioning, and organizational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Planning • Develop and lead the execution of Coface North America's strategic roadmap in alignment with global objectives. • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal capabilities to identify growth opportunities. • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives including partnerships, new market entry, and innovation. Marketing & Communications Oversight • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. • Lead corporate communications, including internal messaging, media relations, and crisis communication. • Ensure alignment of marketing and communications efforts with strategic goals and customer needs. Operational Excellence • Partner with operations leadership to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support scalability. • Monitor performance metrics across departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. • Drive cross-functional collaboration to foster innovation and continuous improvement. Executive Collaboration & Governance • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing insights and recommendations on business direction. • Facilitate strategic planning sessions and ensure consistent communication of strategic priorities across the organization. • Represent Coface North America in industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder engagements. THE CANDIDATE Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). • 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, marketing leadership, and operational management. • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational transformation. • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. • Experience in financial services, insurance, or B2B sectors is a plus.
