Associate Sustainment Engineer

Lockheed Martin is a leader in innovation and integrity, seeking an Associate Sustainment Engineer to support sustainment programs. The role involves integration, logistics, and lifecycle support for products, ensuring customer requirements are met within technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Responsibilities Responsible for sustainment program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer and provide advice or training on system design and specifications Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability Skills Bachelor's degree Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and sustainment processes Understanding of configuration management and change control Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule tracking Ability to understand and maintain technical documentation (maintenance manuals, SOPs, etc.) Area's of study: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace, systems engineering, sub-contracts, supply chain, etc Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proactive mindset for continuous improvement Ability to work in fast‑paced, often multi‑site environments Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability 401(k) match Flexible Spending Accounts EAP Education Assistance Parental Leave Paid time off Holidays Company Overview Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that specializes in advanced technology systems, products, and services.
