Associate Product Manager - Consumer

About the position Epson, a world leader in print technology is seeking an exceptional Product Manager for our Consumer Imaging Product Management team. You will be responsible for leading the development, planning, positioning and launching activities of your assigned Epson product(s), and providing input into the forecasting and successful procurement of product. The position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. You must reside locally. What you will be doing: Product Development Provides input into the development of product road maps for assigned product(s). Coordinates with parent company to monitor product development process and makes recommendations for meeting market needs to product management team. Conducts and analyzes market information and provides interpretation. Product Management Works closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, Logistics, Seiko Epson, and other groups to manage the product throughout its lifecycle. Contributes to achieving revenue and gross profit targets for assigned areas. Operates within budgetary constraints, participates in the development of annual budget forecasts for the assigned products and areas; participates in updating and reconciling operational and budgeted product plans as required. Provides input into positioning and pricing of assigned product(s). With some guidance, establishes structured processes for a complete product launch for assigned product(s). Collaborates with sales and logistics organizations to optimize product forecast and product procurement. Provides input into key advertising and promotions tactics for assigned product(s). Manages end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met. Serves as internal and external PR spokesperson for assigned product(s). Supports the company at events, including sales meetings and trade shows. Supports the sales team in customer visits and presentations. Conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned product(s). Initiates and maintains relationships with industry trade groups, analysts, and publications. Requirements • 5 + years of proven experience in product management, preferably in technology or consumer electronics. • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience • Passion for product management, conceptualizing and bringing solutions to market that address real customer needs and can serve to establish long-term brand affinity • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with international teams and navigating cross-cultural collaboration. • Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools and methodologies.
