Job Title: AI-Focused Full-Stack Developer. Location: Chantilly, VA ( Remote. ) Position Summary: • We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable AI-Focused Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain user-facing and backend components of AI-enabled applications and automations for a leading independent federal agency focused on financial system stability. • This role will support the development of secure, scalable, and intuitive interfaces for interacting with AI systems, including Agentic AI, Generative AI (GenAI), and traditional ML models while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise platforms and data services. The developer will work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and platform architects to deliver mission-critical tools that enhance automation, decision support, and public engagement. Key Responsibilities: • Application Development • Design and develop full-stack web applications that interface with AI models, agents, and data services. • Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks. • Develop secure and scalable backend services and APIs to support AI workflows and data exchange. • AI Integration • Integrate GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities into applications, enabling dynamic interactions, autonomous task execution, and intelligent decision support. • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to embed model inference endpoints and agent orchestration logic into production systems. • Implement features such as document summarization, chatbot interfaces, and multi-agent coordination dashboards. • System Architecture & Performance • Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability across cloud and on-prem environments. • Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms aligned with federal security standards. • Monitor application health, usage patterns, and AI/ML model interactions to support continuous improvement. • Collaboration & Support • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and iterate based on feedback. • Provide technical documentation and support for deployed applications and services. • Participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and DevOps workflows. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 5 years of experience in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies. • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Flask/Django. • Experience in integrating AI/ML models and APIs into web applications. • Experience with LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, and agent-based system design. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Terraform). • Experience with GenAI platforms (e.g., Claude, Bedrock) and Agentic AI frameworks. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, AWS cloud services, and containerization. Preferred Skills: • Experience in public sector or regulated environments. • Knowledge of secure coding practices and federal IT compliance standards. Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
