Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Our 10–14-week summer internships offer real-world experience working in the daily operations of our rapidly growing company. As a Diversified intern, you will: • Gain exposure to our oil and gas business while assisting with projects aligned with our company goals. • Utilize your skills and enhance your knowledge in production and operations. • Engage with and present to Diversified leaders. • Take part in professional development activities such as training, site visits, and networking opportunities. Intern-Sustainability/Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG): This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the growing field of ESG, contributing to our company's efforts to integrate environmental and social considerations into decision-making processes that support long-term corporate sustainability. • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting ESG data to identify key trends and performance indicators. • Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive reports on our company's ESG performance for internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with various departments to gather information on social and environmental initiatives. • Engage with stakeholders to understand their perspectives and concerns, fostering transparent communication and building positive relationships. • Support the implementation of ESG policies and strategies within the organization. • Contribute to the development and enhancement of sustainability initiatives and programs. • Conduct research to benchmark our company against peers and identify areas for improvement. • Contribute to internal communications to promote a culture of sustainability and responsible business practices. • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data. • Passion for environmental and social sustainability and a commitment to corporate responsibility. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Familiarity with ESG frameworks and reporting standards is a plus. Qualifications: POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of internship • Self-starter with a passion for learning and a strong work ethic • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills We value safety, production, efficiency, and enjoyment in our work.
